Since the deterioration of its relationship with the Eritrean government, the Sudanese government has begun to round up "Eritrean spies" from the Eritrea-Sudanese border areas.  The round up, conservatively estimated at 85,  is targeting Eritreans in Kassala, Gedaref, Port Sudan and Khartoum. 

Meanwhile, sources in Eritrea indicate that the Eritrea-based Sudanese opposition is gearing up for another confrontation with the Sudan; witnesses report that dozens of military vehiles were heading to the common border.
