A TELEGRAPH TO THE REFORMERS Print E-mail

Brothers,

So many people, I among them, resented and resisted polices of exclusion, alienation and arrogance of the PFDJ since independence. We blamed you for instituting and sustaining tyranny and one party, rather one-man rule and a police state in our beloved country.  We never questioned your love for your country or your contribution in the heroic history of our people. Nevertheless, we questioned your integrity and self esteem for mimicking a tyrant of your own making before and after independence.

However, that was yesterday and better late than never, you have decided to be your own true heroic self and follow the heartbeat of your people. There is nothing more honorable than to join the march for the liberation of the land in your young ages and join the march for democracy, peace and justice in your middle ages. You have our respect and admiration; you earned it and deserved it. You reclaimed your integrity and self esteem. Go forward and you have our blessings and support, the support of all the Eritrean people. We join you and stand by you on the thin and thick on your march forward towards a just and democratic Eritrea and Allah/Amlakh bless us all. Do not let Mussie`s rock fall from your hands, you better than all know best PIA`s perfidy. We don’t want you martyrs or on the list of amnesty international as prisoners of consciousness. You know best how to undo the paper tiger of your own makings.

We love you and constantly pray for you for the sake of our country.
Wassalam walaykum wa Allah yahfazkum

Your brother
Mansour Kerrar
