...the Diaspora PFDJ supporters are not willing to go and serve in Eritrea. More often than not they are the once who pay all the expenses to have their relatives or members of their family flee Eritrea and seek asylum abroad. They and their children make sure that the go there as tourists for brief period only. |

There is an African proverb which goes like this: Only a fool tests a depth of a water with both feet. She in fact threw her whole body and mind into Eritrea’s complex political water that she did not know before. She didn’t bother to pause briefly and study what she was going into. It didn’t cross her mind that this is a country with a despot that is a cause for swamping Eritrean families with tears of loss – a loss one cannot imagine its magnitude unless he/she becomes a victim. |
