وهكذا أن العلاقات التي بدأت قوية بشكل ايجابي تدهورت حتي وصلت إلي درجة متدنية بعد التصريحات التي رصدناها من دراسات سابقة أعدها المركز لتدليل بها علي مستوي الهبوط الذي وصلت إليه العلاقات في الفترة الأخيرة ،ومع ذلك إن إدارة كلينتون كان لها دورا هاما في إيقاف زحف القوات الإثيوبية داخل الأراضي الإرترية أثناء الجولة الثالثة من الحرب ،كما أن مبعوثي الإدارة الأمريكية حينها وهما سوزان رايس وانتنوليك زين لعبا دورا كبيرا في توقيع اتفاقية السلام بين الطرفين في ديسمبر 2000م ،وهكذا كانت نهاية علاقة إرتريا مع الديمقراطيين في فترة حكمهم التي امتدت ثمانية أعوام. |

إن قضية الرعيل على أهميتها ليست بالقضية المستعصية الغير قابلة للحل ، فعددهم محصور ، ومعاناتهم معروفة ، وإحتياجاتهم ابسط مما نتصور فالمطلوب هو تكامل الجهود الفردية المشكوره هنا وهنالك عبر عمل مؤسس يتجاوز الأطر البيروقراطية ويعالج القضية مباشرة ، فمثلا لو أفترضنا أن هنالك عشرة الف إرتري في الخارج وكل منهم مستعد لدفع ما يعادل عشرة دولار أمريكي في الشهر فإن المحصلة النهائية لهذا المشروع في سنة واحدة هي مليون ومائتين الف دولار أمريكي(1,200,000) |

Being a voice for the voiceless and standing in defense of those suffering does not need any advanced education or notary. It starts with refusing to accept or tolerate injustice and refusing to collaborate with the enemies of Peace and Justice. It is primarily an internal dialogue and an affirmation of the best traits in each one of us. We have to be peace and just before we can defend those denied Peace and Justice. |

Under your leadership America will once again be a respected superpower with a well earned wisdom. Your January 20, 2009 acceptance speech will be the most globally anticipated speech in over a century. American people did not just vote for a president but for a global leader commiserate with the position and prestige of an economic and military giant. The whole world will be listening. |
