It is sad that Mohammed Abdu was not buriedin his country for which he struggled all his life. He has joined the many heroes of the Eritrean struggle who didn’t get a chance to be buried in Eritrea including Ibrahim Sultan, Idris Mohammed Adem, and Osman Saleh Sabbe.
He usually wears a white vest known as ‘Abu Shirt,’ a long white pant and a white thobe and has a belt around his waist on which he usually carries his pistol [it was given to him as a gift by Ibrahim Sultan.] -He has a scars from bullet wounds in his lower right foot and another high on his right hip.
