In honor of Dr. Bereket Habteselasse, the African & Afro-American Studies Department of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill hosted a conference entitled Islam, Politics and Law in Africa on April 12-14.  Along with Eritrean, Ethiopian, Sudanese, Somali, Kenyan and American scholars, Awate.com’s Saleh Younis was invited to present a paper.
