FUNDRAISING
Dear sirs,
The March for Freedom is all about the respect
of justice. We understand that committing to such an arduous journey on
foot is not an easy commitment. However, considering the fact that justice is
invaluable, considering the fact that those on whose behalf the March is
organized, those who are languishing in jails in Eritrea without charges and
without due process, the March is the least we can do.
We urge those who can to join the march, and
those who can't to participate in this honorable project with whatever they can.
To give you an idea, you can do one of the following things:
1- Write to your local Newspapers and other
media outlets informing them of the event.
2- Write about the event on discussion forums and clubs that you are a member
of.
3- If the group is marching through your city, make sure to receive them and see
them to the confines of your city.
4- Volunteer to host them in your houses when they march through your city, and
5- Promote the project by discussing it and writing about it on Eritrean
websites and discussion forums.
One more thing you can do,
The project is being totally financed with
individual resources; and those resources are not in deep pockets. Tesfa Delina
(asmarino.com) has been assigned to collect funds for the project. In a day or
two, we will post a fundraising link for accepting contributions. Though any
amount is good amount, and you are urged to send whatever amount you can afford,
please be generous.
Thank you in advance
the organizers

Nation In
Jail
This list of prisoners in PFDJ
jails was compiled by farajat.com from
different sources. The list is not a complete list and does not contain all the
names of prisoners in the PFDJ jails. It also does not include names of
many citizens who simply disappeared after they were picked by plainclothes PFDJ
security officials.
Since there is no court system in
Eritrea, it is not possible to get the names of imprisoned citizens; the PFDJ
rules by regime Fiat and runs the country as a military camp. The PFDJ, which is
not accountable to anyone, doesn't consider Eritreans worthy enough to enjoy
civil liberties.
While browsing the list, please
note that the PFDJ sometimes jails and frees people whimsically without stating
the reason for arrest or the reason for release imprisoned citizens. Though the
PFDJ has added more people to its prison population since the list was last
updated, it is possible that a few might have been released. We urge you to take
this list as an indication of the grave situation in which Eritreans find themselves.
